Lois Scott is a senior finance executive, entrepreneur and civic leader. Over her 30+ year career, she has served in C-level positions in government, business and the nonprofit industry. Her work and leadership has been recognized by many, including Crain’s Chicago Business “40 under 40”, “Who’s Who in Chicago Business,” “Women in Black” for top women in technology, Today’s Chicago Woman’s list of “Most Influential Women in Chicago” and as a leading entrepreneur in National Journal, Forbes Small Business and BusinessWeek websites. David R. May, Advisor
David May is a senior technology executive and entrepreneur. Serves as independent board member of EQDerivatives, Inc. Our current portfolio consists of twenty-seven companies in the fintech space (with a few exceptions.)
In 2000, David was co-founder and CTO of LoanX, an internet-based financial services firm in over-the-counter syndicated loans. In 2004, LoanX was sold to IHS Markit Ltd, a London-based financial information services company. Today, the NASDAQ traded IHS Markit (INFO) valued in excess of $40 billion with more than 13,000 employees throughout the world. David retired from the firm in 2008 to invest and mentor other start-ups.
Prior to 2000, David was vice-president (and equity principal) of Metamor/Xpedior responsible for sales, marketing, project delivery and financial performance of four practices totaling 60 consultants, representing $13M (25%) of firm’s annual revenue. He founded the Data Warehouse practice, Transactions Systems practice and started the Washington, DC office. A speaker on Data Warehousing and Transaction Systems including speaker and chair of The Data Warehouse Institute Leadership Conference, guest lecturer at Cornell University, and speaker at the Telecommunications Billing Systems Conference.
